Outstanding vocal ensemble

London based chamber choir Canticum, enjoys a range embracing Renaissance polyphony, the close harmony of jazz classics and specially commissioned new works. Canticum has been a leading London choral ensemble for over 20 years impressing audiences and critics with its mix of technical excellence and sheer musicality.

A group of around 35 singers of varying ages, we’re always looking for new concert venues and recording opportunities. As a London choir we’re lucky to be able to sing in some of the most beautiful venues in the city, but we often travel out to take part in festivals around the country and abroad.

What's Coming Up

Covid-19 Cancellations

We are working on the basis that concerts will be impossible in the summer and that we are quite likely to face distancing restrictions well into the autumn. There has been no choice but to cancel the summer term and the scheduled engagements.

We do believe that we can plan for September onwards, however, and that rehearsing should be possible even if we stand two metres apart. And while it remains unclear as to whether or not our engagements at Greenwich, and with Marie Curie and Liveability are to go ahead, we are considering a recording as the next important project.
